Two Little Fish

Jack and Easton took swim lessons this summer at the Fort Worth Family Swim School. It was 8 30-minute private sessions that have a Christian focus, and they were AWESOME!!! Both boys learned how to swim, although Easton is still a little timid. Jack is a complete fish now, and it gives me such relief to know that they can both get themselves out of a pool if they were to accidentally fall in.

Here's Jack swimming across the pool. His teacher was Mr. David.

Easton had Miss Madeline. Here they are getting some instruction.

Jack is doing the freestyle stroke in this pic.

Can you see Easton kicking away in the background?

Easton is actually swimming not floating in this picture. He did not love his lessons, though he learned a lot. He still tells me "no pop-ups, no pop-ups" every once in awhile. That's where his teacher would make him pop up and take a breath and then continue to go under and swim the rest of the way to her. He just wanted to swim with his first breath and have her hold him after that.

Here was my buddy during the lessons.

Jack floating on his back.

Having a little fun!

Yay for my two little swimmers!
