This Spring

Below are some photos of our happenings this Spring. We had some things happen that were big life changers for us that are not pictured, though. First of all, I found out I was pregnant with our fourth little boy. Now we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Max Daniel who is due on October 11th. Secondly, Jeff was offered a fantastic job back at Chesapeake Headquarters in Oklahoma City where he will be starting June 1st. We are going to miss Texas IMMENSELY but felt like God was leading us to take the job he was offered. Now we are in overdrive trying to get the house ready to sell (why am I always pregnant every single time we move???).

He will melt some hearts someday. Picked this for his mommy when we took another trip to the Botanical Gardens when Grammy and Poppaw were in town.

Someday this guy will join the tree-climbers, too. We are just happy to have him walking finally. He took his first steps when he was 18 months old but did not really start walking until he was 21 months. Mommy was ready to not have to carry him all the time and to have his clothes and hands stay cleaner when we went to the park!

The flowers are in bloom! So pretty!

This was hilarious! Easton found a squirrel on the side of this tree that kept running on the tree trunk in circles. Easton kept running after it in circles for quite some time. We were dying watching this whole scene. Finally, the squirrel went up the tree leaving Easton and his audience disappointed. If you look close, you can see the squirrel.

Sweetness!

This is how Isaac would get around a lot of the time...the mighty bear crawl. Although he never was devilishly fast like Jack, he got pretty close and was the source of many laughs.

I had a Noah's ark playdate at our house, and these are the rainbow cupcakes with homemade "cloud" icing I made for the treat.

Here is a picture of our poor Easton and his monster tonsils. He had to have a tonsillectomy/adnoidectomy/tubes in both ears. When we saw the ENT, the doc said that on a scale of 1-4, Easton's adnoids and tonsils were a 4+ covering more than 90% of the space in his throat. It probably has been a big contributor to his slow speaking, as well (which being on the other side of the surgery, we have noticed a big difference in his speech already, starting with him being able to say his E sounds calling me Mommy instead of just Momma days after the surgery). It was a miserable ten days after the surgery, but he was a trooper and was finally back to himself on day 11. We began our stay in Texas with a surgery at Cook's Children's Hospital for Easton and ended our stay the same way.

Easton normally loves bathtime, but he was still in recovery here from his surgery. You can tell by his look how awful he was feeling.
