Our Avengers (Halloween 2012)

Halloween was a blast this year!  We had the Avengers living with us (substitute The Flash/Batman for Thor in our version)!  We did something new (Boo at the Zoo) and some things we have loved from previous years (Storybook Forest at Arcadia Lake, Fall Festival at church and of course, trick-or-treating in the neighborhood).  It seems as though every year becomes more fun with these guys.

3 fine superheroes.  1 proud momma.

Of course, we had to stop at the dragon to take a picture.  The boys think dragons are the coolest things ever since they watched How To Train Your Dragon.

With all these superheroes around me, I am one protected girl!

Brotherly cheese at the Storybook Forest.

Isaac showing off his loot!

Jeff's work always has Halloween costume competitions, and since everyone was constantly commenting on how much Jeff looked like the vice-presidential candidate, Paul Ryan, Jeff went with it.  The best part was watching him practice his Paul Ryan face.

Easton showing off the superhero he was going to be for Halloween to his speech teacher, Miss Linda.

On Halloween, we went up to the Fall Festival at church for a bit and then Jeff made the rounds in the neighborhood with the three big boys.  Did you notice we now have a Batman instead of The Flash?  Jack's costume was quite uncomfortable in certain areas so we had to make a change.

Happy Halloween!
