Much To Be Thankful For!

Happy Thanksgiving!  I feel like we have more to be thankful for every Thanksgiving.  I am thankful for our family's health, for 4 little boys who are more fun to be around with each passing month, thankful for a husband who works so hard for us but also loves to race home from work to see us, thankful for great schools, church and friends, thankful for a great extended family, and thankful most of all for a God who loves us so deeply.  We are blessed beyond measure.

 

 

 

Easton was in a Thanksgiving play at school.  Since the beginning of the year, he has wanted to play the same part that his big brother was last year, an Indian who shouts "big and brave".  Although there was some stage fright involved, Easton was a terrific and quite handsome Indian.  And he was perfect for the part because he is definitely big and brave!

Isaac had a smaller Thanksgiving program in his classroom.  He dressed up as a little Indian, too, and sang some fun Thanksgiving songs.  He has had so much fun getting to be in class with his cousin, Averi Sue.  She is the cutie just to the left of him.

 

 

 

Isaac was too bashful to sing the first couple of songs, but he finally warmed up and finished doing a great job.  What is it with these shy Pinter kids?  Apparently Jack, our social butterfly, is the only one who inherited that gene from momma.

 

 

 

Well, we had Easton and Isaac's programs in the morning followed by a fun Thanksgiving potluck.  Then, in the afternoon, I got to go to Jack's Thanksgiving party at school.  I was in charge of fruit for his party and came up with this fun idea. Pinterest-free, I might add.

We got to spend the holiday in Texas this year.  It was so much fun because my sister's family, Jeff's mom and Jeff's brother, Rob, and his little family all stayed at Kathy's house.  It was a full house but never felt crowded.  As always, Kathy was the ultimate host and made a fabulous feast for us.  Unfortunately, my camera broke right before this trip and stop focusing.  I'm sure you will notice the "fuzz" in the rest of these pictures.

We took the kids to Ice! at the Gaylord Texan Hotel.  It was a Christmas Madagascar theme this year.  You wear parkas and go through an ice sculpture trail in a building kept at 9 degrees.  Brrr....fun to see but glad to check that one off the list.
