Christmas 2011
Family pic taken at Jeff's work, Chesapeake. The kids loved the lights and then got to head over to a field where Chesapeake brought in snowmakers. They got to make snowmen there! (No pics of the snow field since I had to run home with Max.)
Grammy and Poppaw came over mid-December to deliver lots of goodies!
Jack loved his new Razor scooter and is quite proficient at it now.
That's right, Gundy. Go ahead and give us a call.
We survived the plane ride to Arizona rather well considering our entourage. Although the man behind us went unconscious. That was eventful. We had written Santa before we left OK and asked him if he would mind leaving our gifts there since it would be hard to fly home with lots of stuff. He did as promised but left the boys each a couple of presents so they would have something to play with on Christmas morning.
Checking out the letter Santa left for them.
Now inspecting their loot.
They do play nice together sometimes....
Actually, these goons are buddies!
Christmas is much more fun with tickles from Daddy!
Notice the fairy wings on Easton. Santa did not leave those.
Sweet Christmas baby!
Isaac still sucks on his middle two fingers but only does it in bed now. Occasionally, when he gets hurt or is tired, he will ask me, "Mommy, can I suck my fingers with the tag?". He rubs the tag on his elephant while he sucks and will not do it without it. Funny guy.
We didn't bring our baby tub with us. The sink did the job.
Going for a Christmas morning stroll to the park with some very handsome little men.
Did I say handsome or CrAZy????
We're in Arizona! They don't believe in grass. Just pokey plants!
Isaac taking a rest.
Getting some help from Daddy.
My little firefighters.
Ma with her two newest grandsons. Caiden and Max were born within a month of each other. Caiden stole all the hair.
I think she likes them.
I love our big AZ family. We always have so much fun.
Averi!
Mr. Slick
Kathy has been gulping the wassail, apparently.
Snuggle time.
Our boys don't see their Ma enough.
We went to a different park and had a great time on the train and carousel.
Isaac wasn't quite brave enough to do a horse by himself at first.
Sweet Aunt Debbie.
Going for rides in the crazy bike trailer.
Time for some grub. These slices of pizza were massive.
I think Isaac's pizza was as big as him!
Getting some more time with Ma!
He kind of likes her, can't you tell?
Yes,that is Samantha eating pie in the bathtub while her hubby, Mike, works on the toilet. I walked by in time to hear her telling him how much she was enjoying the view.
The pilot invited our boys into the cockpit to "help" him before takeoff. And the plane didn't even explode! Jack was in button heaven.
We came home to OK to find that Santa had made good on his word.
Here are the boys rushing in to see what Santa had brought them.
Yes, Jack was eagerly tearing through everything he could find.
Max took everything in, but I think he enjoyed his first Christmas.
