A Birthday SAFARI!

I decided to kill two birthdays with one party, and so we celebrated Isaac's 1st and Jack's 4th birthdays with a safari! We had the party in my parent's backyard in Edmond, and everything would have been perfect except that Jack woke up vomiting at 5am the morning of his party. So, since we couldn't very well cancel the party since Isaac was having friends over, too, we had to semi-quarantine Jack. The rest of the party was great and everyone had a great time making homemade binoculars and going on a safari treasure hunt.

Jack got to make some binoculars before everyone came over to the party.

The binocular station.

Setting up.

Brooklyn spent most of the afternoon here.

Chickfila at the request of my sick, little boy who couldn't eat any.

On the treasure hunt...

Racing to another clue.

All the parents just watching...

Jeff was the safari guide.

Caleb with Isaac. Can you tell these two are related?

Almost to the treasure!

Found it! Here is Campbell up to bat!

Dawson's turn.

Mad dash for candy! Watch out!

I forgot to take a picture of the cake before we cut it, but it was really cute and fun!

Isaac's smash cake! He was not near as into his cake as his two brothers were.

Daddy helping things start rolling.

Hosing off the excess afterwards.

Present time!

Thank you, Awbreys, for the swords. They are a favorite at our house. Clarification: boys' favorite, not necessarily mom's favorite. :)

Rowan snuck off to play on the playground during present time, and when we looked up, there she was standing in all her glory. Hey, it was hot...

This is on Isaac's actual birthday. We let him open his presents from us back in Texas.

Going for a big one!

Lovin' his new Cozy Coupe!

Excited!!!!!
