For some reason, stockings are my favorite Christmas decoration to put up.
We had a party for Jeff's employees....this was the dessert table.

We went up to OK in mid-December to celebrate with the Hall-side of our family. Here are the grandkids (all 9 of them).
And the culprits behind them...

Averi obviously enjoyed herself, too!
Then off to Phoenix we went with a car and a top carrier stuffed full of boys and suitcases. We barely arrived with our sanity intact after the trip there. It was pretty miserable. On the way home, we decided to drive straight through the night ~ much better to be tired than have to hear a trio of screaming children all day long in a confined space.

Once we made it to Phoenix, we took a mini-excursion up to Show Low to play in the snow. And snow it did ~ I think it snowed over a foot while we were there. It was a blast playing with our little snowmen.

Mom and Dad actually got to have a couple of much-needed date nights! Odd to see a picture of us with decent clothes on and no spit-up at the same time.
After the Christmas Eve service, we went over to the Fosters and got to participate in one of their family traditions. We all loaded into the back of their truck and drank hot chocolate while we drove around the neighborhood looking at Christmas lights. We had so much fun (until Jack bumped my hot chocolate which doused Isaac and me). We think we might have to make this one of our traditions in the future!

SANTA came! Here was the spread on Christmas morning. Amazing how Santa can always find you wherever you are!
Aunt Kathy hooked Jack up with some hot chocolate while he waited for everyone to wake up. A great way to start the morning ~ sugar and caffeine!

Christmas evening, we went to Ma's for dinner, family time and more presents, of course. Easton thought her fish tank was very cool.

While we were in Arizona, we got to meet up with some old friends of ours, Grant and Jeree Brown. It was wonderful getting to catch up with them. And they even survived lunch at a restaurant with our three boys.

We went for a walk afterwards on the University of Arizona's campus. The boys were totally excited when they found these bike racks to play on. Notice the gum in Jack's mouth ~ it is funny....anytime anyone asks Jack how old he is, he will say three and then immediately tell them that he gets gum now. It has been such a huge milestone for him.

While we were at the zoo, we rented a bike-mobile. Jack and Easton got the prime seats in front where you don't have to pedal. We went zooming around the zoo in this thing ~ I am surprised it held up.

Kathy, Amy, Averi and I had a girl's day at the mall ~ it was wonderful. We couldn't resist trying on these awesome hats! As always, our family had such a fun time out in Phoenix, and it was hard to come home. I kept on trying to talk Jeff into buying a condo out there ~ he didn't go for it. We are blessed to have such great family on both sides whom we truly enjoy spending lots of time with.
